Over the course of the last year Harris Tweed have crossed many boundaries. They recorded and released their debut album ‘The Younger’, performed at such landmark events as OppiKoppi, Woodstock, Splashy Fen, Rage for the Revolution and more. All the while the band have been working hard at bringing “the people” something that they will remember, something unique.

The first single from their album ‘Superfly’ was number one on both the Home Bru and the Hot 30 charts on 94.7 Highveld Stereo. On top of that it was in the Top 40 on 5FM, reached number 2 on the 5FM High Five at Five and has been playlisted on radio stations around the country.

It is on that note that Harris Tweed bring you ‘Field Tests & Sound Checks’ – their final Jhb show for the year. The show will serve as the launch date for their December tour (The ‘Life Should be More Fun’ Tour) as well as the launch for their new video and single; ‘Ode to Confusion’.
