Attention: drummers/lead guitarists
Sunday, April 06, 2003 - 07:04 PM
Ex Threefifty members Brett Allen-White and Nicholas Gore are looking for a permanent drummer and a permanent lead guitarist for a newband that we are starting up, although we may keep the name Threefifty, but that isn't important at the moment. Piss drunks and non-drinkers, black, white or blue, fat, thin...we don't mind...

The border's in CT music.
Friday, April 04, 2003 - 07:52 PM
One thing I've noticed is that at most gig's certain bands always play together. For example, if Half Price is playing, then you can safely bet that False Pretence will be there aswell. This is just an example, but its becoming pretty clear that certain bands only play together.Posted by Jackass

Friday, April 04, 2003 - 01:19 PM
Heya. Its been a while since the last newsletter, but here's some new stuff I got which I think a lot of people would really be interested in.E-mail me: give&take@global.co.za Check it out:Snapcase - End transmission CD R125
This is the latest Snapcase release out on Victory records. This album is yet a further progression from albums like Designs for automotion, into a more indie-rockish type sound, while still having that intensity that got you into them in their first place.I was lucky enough to see these guys live at the end of last year and they just blow your mind away!Check out this killer mp3: http://www.victoryrecords.com/sounds/Coagulate.mp3

urban wreak yard 4
Thursday, April 03, 2003 - 09:11 AM
I heard about a urban wreak yard gig (which I heard where realy cool) in tableview it was a far way to go seen as though I live close to muizenberg but the hogs were on the line up so I decided to go:What a was of time ok They were suposed to start at 3 they started at 4, hardly any one was there, half the bands didn't pitch (hogs, aftertaste and others) the sound would just stop half way between songs and to make it worse it finished an hour and a half early and it started to rain and our lift only came at seven (when it was soposed to finish)
