OK Now Im gonna tell you this first off, I am not blessed with a brilliant voice!!!Anyway, I am looking to start up an experimental band, something unlike anything you may have heard from other SA bands, it will kind of be a Hardcore/Punk/Emo/Indie band with a wide range of influences which include Taking Back Sunday, Saves the Day, The Starting Line, New Found Glory, Bane, Hey Mercede's...

Naomi Klein on Ashwin Desai's new bookThe Best New Book on Globalization
“We Are The Poors” by Ashwin Desai
Review by Naomi Klein
Ashwin Desai’s “We Are The Poors” is one of the best books yet on globalization and resistance. Its secret is that barely mentions globalization, and instead weaves together richly told local stories that bring this grand and bland subject vividly to life.

Arundhati Roy speaks in Mexico
Friday, November 15, 2002 - 08:11 AM
Quite often these days, I find myself being described as a "social activist." Those who agree with my views, call me "courageous." Those who don't, call me all kinds of rude names which I won't repeat. I am not a social activist, neither am I particularly courageous.... So please do not underestimate the trepidation with which I stand here to say what I must say.Posted by Shy Coward

We prefer our own stuff. We are looking for someone who has a good style and some experience.Posted by jonaban-the-one
