PUNK ROCKING BEATS!+++++++++++++ S.K.U.45 +++++++++++++

WORD TO THE WISE!After a close shave with death, on my behalf, being hi-jacked on the way to
practice, im glad to announce we survived Woodstock, Skanking Daddy's protests
and Lord ZOltan's stage dive.
Woodstock was a good skank. We had a really rocking set with a few minor hicups.
The stage and area surrounding it was a dustbowl, something like Mad Max and
the sound wasn't amazing out front but it was good enough to hear what was going
on. After the gig I had a nice coating of dust on my guitar.
Just before the show our bass player Chest Rockwell was savaged in the Hog Pit
and nearly broke he's thumb, but an amazing recovery followed and after a few
shots of Jameson's we were all good and ready. I must thank Ag, Romini CReam
and Agent Nic's for there support and Nick The Hawk, for skanking he's zug off.

New stuff arrives at Give and take
Wednesday, October 03, 2001 - 02:06 AM
Morning before - The new romantics CD R85 [5 in stock]This stuff is Emo to the bone. More like Post-emo with an indie rock edge, which
reminds me of stuff like the Get up kids, Sunny day real estate and that type
of stuff, but with some originality. The combination of good female vocals, along
with tight music and well written lyrics make this a very catchy album. Check
out the website for more info and mp3's of this album http://www.morningbefore.de
The gruffalos - Yummy apetisers CD R85 [5 in stock]
This is stuff with a more poppy, jumpy Emo sound. Reminds me a lot of Baby gopal
and Sri, but with a slightly faster beat, but with really melodic breakdowns.
This has great vocal chemistry, with female lead vocals and male backing vocals.

Sad news for CeaseFire
Tuesday, October 02, 2001 - 02:11 AM
If anybody remembers when we were still a 4 piece band. This is to let you know that our then second guitarist Adrian sadly passed away this week. He will be badly missed by everybody involved in the band. A truly exceptional guitarist and friend to all.[Dude we still can't play 'she wasn't talking to me' properly without you.]

Bush is Walking into Trap
Wednesday, September 26, 2001 - 08:23 AM
Retaliation is a trap. In a world that was supposed to have learnt that the rule of law comes above revenge, President Bush appears to be heading for the very disaster that Osama bin Laden has laid down for him. Let us have no doubts about what happened in New York and Washington last week. It was a crime against humanity. We cannot understand America's need to retaliate unless we accept this bleak, awesome fact. But this crime was perpetrated it becomes ever clearer to provoke the United States into just the blind, arrogant punch that the US military is preparing.Posted by punk

The first war of the 21st century
Wednesday, September 26, 2001 - 12:21 AM
By Ted Grant and Alan WoodsEvents on a world scale are moving rapidly towards a deadly dénouement. After the events of the 11th of September, US imperialism has been thrashing around, like a wounded beast, looking for an enemy to strike out at. There was never any doubt that it would soon find one, and that when it did its response would be devastating.
The American imperialists have threatened Afghanistan, Iraq and other countries and bullied Pakistan. They have put heavy pressure on the governments of Europe, leaving them in no doubt that they expect unconditional backing for whatever actions they see fit to perpetrate. Their slogan is "whoever is not for us is against us".

Everything you ever wanted to know about the WTC attack
Tuesday, September 25, 2001 - 12:22 AM
Here's a little site I stumbled on. It's for those of you who have no idea whatto think of the recent attacks in the US. It's also for those of you who think
you do know what's going on. After all, you can never know everything.
And she is...
Just remember not to assume that because it's in writing that it's true, or
that because an organization has said something that all it's members feel the
same.

Give and take records news
Tuesday, September 25, 2001 - 12:18 AM
1. Give and take records at WoodstockWell, a couple of weeks ago a friend (and fellow distributer) of mine contacted
Woodstock, to hear what the policy was on myself and him setting up distribution
stalls were. Their reply was that Musica had rights over the fest, cause they
are a big ass sponsor, and that only they were allowed to sell music. I guess
they have all right to do so, I mean look what they have done for the Punk, Hardcore
and underground Metal scene over the years (sarcasm). Will this get me down? Hell
no. I am gonna be selling stuff semi-legally, from my car boot during this event.
I will be going together with my friends distro (read on for that) and we will
be selling stuff "unofficially" from our car boots. We will be doing
a split flyer, and I will be handing them out to everyone at the blunt stage during
the weekend, so that way you'll know where we are at. This is pretty rad, cause
I've had quite a hectic responce for the stuff I am putting up, so if you want
something from my catalog you best book it now so I can keep it aside for you.
I will also be bringing my cd player, so you will be able to listen to something
first. So yeah look out for us..
