Bassist Needed - For New Band Of Ex-Pet Flyz

Now that Pet Flyz have broken up, 3/4 of Pet Flyz (Paul, Iain and Tiaan) have started a new band - we're still deciding on a name. Iain and Paul are playing guitar / vocals while Tiaan remains on the drums. We are however looking for a bassist to join us!

After almost 7 years (May 1997 - January 2004), hundreds of shows, a couple of mini-tours (Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Nelspruit etc.), a split CD (with Leek, released in 1999), 2 albums ("Here Goes Everything" released 2000 and "Motive For Breathing" released 2003) and countless local and international compilations, we have decided to end Pet Flyz.

They have decided to combine their celebrations in order to bring you the biggest punk/ska party of 2004 and to make sure that the event is definitely not one to be missed They?ve also put together a top class line-up of bands and other various forms of entertainment. Never before has any event managed to get every one of the following bands on the same line-up.

vynil anyone?

i was just wondering if anyone in sa actually know that vynil records still exist and if anyone has ever tried out their dad's records player. it seems like sush a shame to me cause ive grown up with my dad's vynil (some of it being really cool, dylan, doors, etc) and here in england it is ***** huge. lots of the bands release 7'' before they are able to make cd's at all. all the split 7'' you get and the coloured limited edition vynil are great.

Hey everyone!First of all, a very late Merry Christmass and Happy new year!I've been away myself on a much needed vacation which is why I've been so silent over the past 2-3 weeks.Hope everyone had good holidays and got home safely from wherever you were.

2003 was an awesome year for Give and take!We have had crazy sales this year, almost twice as much as the previous year, so just thanks to everyone who have supported us so hard!!I totally appreciate it so much I really do!!I've always tried to keep Give and take truly indie to the bone, with no corporate attachments whatsoever and thanks to the guys who understand this and what we're about.

Shouting Vocals required for experimental punk/metal/other band

Our Influences are: Thrice, the Used, Propagandhi, Nofx, Rancid, System of a down, Iron Maiden, Tool, Anti-Flag etc.

The Prophets of Heaven entered the Hallroom of God Himself and spoke these words: Beware the Emu.They sing The Final Song of Destruction.
"Emus?" questioned Gods beard "What Emus?"
"The Prophets have spoken." spoke the Prophets. They left the room. God was nervous. But how could a harmless bird threaten all existanceThere was a faint smell of burining sulphur in the air that morning. The sun was now rising slowly over the horizon to shine its warmth all over the feiry pits of hell. The damned were restless that morning thought Satan....
