'Beginning from Forgiven' looking for new Drummer & Bassist
Tuesday, September 14, 2004 - 03:39 PM
My band from Durban, 'Beginning From Forgiven', is looking for a bassist and now a new drummer too.I wouldn't lump us into any genre, but I'd say we play straight up metalcore/hardcore, with influences from bands like, Nodes of Ranvier, Killswitch Engage, Yesterdays Rising and Zao etc. Although we sometimes sound quite different.

Yeah it’s that time again...and with this year's one almost spoiled by a crazy ass land lady we persevered and made it work at the end. Well...we made budget and the profit I spent on prostitutes, beer and Tim Burton dvd's....I'm broke so it motivated me to do another one. Brilliant.Posted by IvanFerreira

The origin of punk?
Thursday, September 09, 2004 - 02:36 PM
Punk is a real thing, but not as we have come to know it. Punk is actually the government code name for a secret nerve agent that they were developing in the late 1960's. The idea of the agent was that it was designed as a weapon, and it would be used to kill people, as that is what weapons are designed for (ie. to kill people).Posted by ck

Dockside Rocks?
Wednesday, September 08, 2004 - 10:51 AM
When Dockside first opened, it was intended for it to be a live music venue, but nature took its course and it became somewhat of a “dance” venue, attracting a crowd that I personally would be too afraid to label, as these sort of people have very dodgy contacts, if you know what I mean…Posted by zinz
