First i want to congratulate the hogs and their management for their single release the other night! I really enjoyed it! Respect brothers!

Here are the scores of the young guns battle of the bands (10 November 2003):

IMPROPRIETY: 76,33% - Impropriety is still the fastest punk band in Cape town. They deserve more credit. (records labels must sign them - hint hint). One of Cape town's finest punk. They destroyed. Enough said!

RELATED: 70,5% - Related was one of the suprizes of the evening. The crowd really liked these guys. Good old christian rapcore ( Tim Drunk will now piss in his pants) Yes they are christian and yes they do rapcore - And yes they are very good! And yes they are very young as band! So they will even become more popular and bigger over time! They hail from Stellenbosch!

Who r these guys??Their from pta,ive seen them a couple of times and everytime they blew my pants off!!!!but yet ive never seen reviews of them when they played with Fuzi,Skalladin,Half Price or any of the other bands they played with...I mean when they opened for Half Price,KiddieFidlers and Stevie Wonderfuls,they ripped the ***** out of Bohemian in Jhb,they kicked the others guys asses.

just a reminder still, that if you want something we dont carry, we will get it for you.We have a quick cheap ordering service.We charge about R130 for ANY import CD, R150 for ANY import DVD, R140 for t-shirts and the rest obviously you have to inquire but its all pretty cheap. I would like to give a list of the labels we can get but the truth of the matter is we can get just about ANYTHING!Also, you dont have to sit forever and wait for your order, cause we literally order every 2 weeks, so as long as you can get your order to me every Monday that would be cool.So imagine, paying this cheap for your stuff, getting it in absolutely NO TIME and also, if and when we get free stuff like promo CD's we give them to frequent orderers.There's not catch, no added strings.Just email me for more info and I am happy to accomodate anyone.

Cape Town based ska-core band, Zero Tolerance, is looking for a new trumpeter and vocalist.
We're a 6 piece at the moment (2 guit, 1 bass, drums, trombone, trumpet) but loosing a trumpeter soon and looking to get another one as soon as possible and to add a vocalist to the band. We're all around 17yrs and have influences such as Mad Caddies, Hogs, Rudies ect..

"The Vendetta Cartel Reunion Show on Friday 31st October at the Twilight Zone in Benoni, organised by WRENCH PRODUCTIONS and Friends, was one of the sickest gigs I’ve been to, or can remember being at, in a while.

The evening kicked off with a guest appearance by Dreiflaschen from Germany, who played a short melodic pop-punk set before having to leave early to play another show. Just before they played their last, and possibly only English song, I remember the lead vocalists going on about circle-pits and trying to get everyone onto the floor but, as usual, people were hesitant to skank-it-up to a band they probably hadn’t heard. At least this was the first I’d heard of them.

sup, had a band but the bass chickie wasn't interested and our other basist lives too far away. drummer is pretty good but she sticks with me. influenced by NOFX, Goldfinger, bad religion, the clash, fuzi, spunge, the used, atfn, new found glory, rancid, millencollin, frenzal and lots of other stuff. not interested in sum41 and blink wannabe's and old school stuff. this is serious stuff.
