THE HORSES NEED YOUR HELP
Wednesday, January 14, 2004 - 08:16 AM
<img src="/horses_files/image001.jpg" width=200 height=179 align="left">?There are many horses out there that have been neglected, abused, slaughtered, the way in which these horses are being transported to slaughter often leads to dreadful cruelty/death. The horses in Zimbabwe are often subject to numerous forms of abuse to serve as a warning to farmers not to return, atrocities too offensive to mention.?It is extremely expensive to rescue these animals, nurse them back to good health. Ask any horse owner and they will tell you, that it is extremely costly to keep and take care of a horse, as their needs are so great. This is why NHT needs your help!

Next time you get handed a free sample of Listerine mints or product of the sort, do yourself a favour and Go do a search on some of the ingredients, mainly Aspartame*. You will amazed at what these things do to you.Posted by Keemo

However, pollution remains a problem that needs to be addressed and trough the annual International Coastal Clean-up the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism (DEAT) is highlighting this challenge through various clean-up activities along our coastal provinces, involving volunteers and other organisations.

The World as we assume it to be...
Monday, August 04, 2003 - 01:20 AM
Extracted from the Tyger burger 30 July."I am an individual who hangs out with the other side of the youth. Not the drug-infested or alcohol-driven, rather the individuals who live for live music performed by local bands and who generally have a good time.
Personally I think there is not enough exposure for these bands. The 'punk' and 'metal' scene has vast talent in our very own back yard - like One More Riot and Lethal Strings. People get a disillusioned impression of local bands because they have heard of bands like Neshamah, who apparently call themselves Christian. In other words they use the Church and so forth to swindle money out of the youth and in the process make atrocious music.

As the settlement in the McDonald's lawsuit is being finalized, concerns surface that some vegetarian organizations are Sleeping With the EnemyMcDonald's has hatched a plan to give millions of settlement dollars earmarked for "vegetarian organizations" to animal researchers and anti-vegetarian groups.
