Dijit have recorded new material...not sure when it will be available. Neshamah are finishing their new ep on the 11th of november.

Neshamah and Aftertaste, our own hardcore acts, are going on tour to Jo'burg and Pretoria from the 12th till the 16th of April, after which Neshamah embark to the far away coast of The United Sates to play Cornerstone and tour around. The Hogs have sorted out the problems and the release sate for 'Driving over Miss Davie' is set for Saturday 10 March, at the Purple Turtle.
January 2001 Hog Hoggidy Hog have encountered technical difficulties in the studio and have to re-record one of the songs, this is going to result in the release date for their new album being postponed until the end of Feb 2001.
December 2000 A Guy Called Gerald no longer exist, they will, however, reform under a new name, I'm not sure exactly if they'll be keeping their original line-up or songs. Keep checking this page for more info.

December 2000 Diminished Return played their first comeback gig at the Big Tree last night, look out for future gigs by the longest running Cape Town punk band.
December 2000 There's a new rockabilly band on the scene, they call themselves Chicken and it consists of members from legendary ex-rockabilly bands, The Mavericks and The Bantam Cocks, both of which are probably before most of your times. The guys also run a pub called Crazy Cats, which is around the Corner from the Cornerhouse in town, where they play accoustic sets til all hours and serve great mexican food.

November 2000 New All-Star project, Stalin's Dog is will be making their debut performance early next year, it's apparently quite hush hush, so that's all the info that I've been given, apart from the fact that they're going to be creating quite a stir.
November 2000 Ex-Fungy gone West members, Andrew Chicken (trumpet) and Jay (original guitarist) have started a new band which will apparently be giging pretty soon, should be quite interesting.
November 2000 Joystick are apparently back on the scene and rumoured to be doing a reunion gig in the near future.
November 2000 Lee Lips will apparently be leaving the Hogs for a while to see his girlfriend overseas, but apparently will be doing the recording before he leaves and has said that he will be back. HHH do apparently have a replacement for him already, but that's all the information they're giving at this time.
October 2000 A Guy Called Gerald are also recording at the end of this month - so many exciting things happening, this summer the MuthaCity's gonna rock!

October 2000 HHH's new Cd is apparentley going to be quite a treat, with a guest horn section with the sax player from Dorp, guest dub vocals from the guys from Firing Squad, as well as the Cd being an interactive multimedia CDRom, which will include the Time 4 Love video (that we'll eventually be able to see) I can't wait.

September 2000 There is apparently going to be a punk mini-fest at Danie Uys park in October sometime with all the MuthaCity punk bands playing.
